Camping, Football, and the 2010 World Cup
The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be in Durban, South Africa in June. Already the city is buzzing with excitement as people prepare for the biggest event in football. Venues are being built or renovated, hotels are booking rooms and filling to capacity, and fans everywhere are looking forward to some of the best matches football has to offer.
Hotel rooms and accommodations are reaching sky-high prices with most rooms now in the 900 Euro range and climbing. Unless you're willing to stay in some of the seedier parts of town, it's not likely you'll find an affordable stay in Durban during the World Cup.
Unless you decide to think outside the box and realize that the only thing that could make the greatest football in the world more exciting is camping with your friends at a place that, when you ad up the bonuses, is better than most hotels anyway.
How does ten minutes walk from the beach, three or four minutes from restaurants and local clubs, restrooms, meals, and a huge common room with a giant screen television sound?
That is what you can have for a fraction of the cost of a hotel stay during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in Durban.
The campsites and facilities are located on two school campuses in the suburbs of Durban, but near enough to downtown to be only minutes from the stadium (with regular shuttle services available). These schools have plenty of campsite space, full facilities including swimming pools and an Ops Center, and more.
Most of our guests this year are finding that they can reserve their stay for the entire series of World Cup games at only a few days' cost compared to many hotels in the area.
A couple of minutes from pubs and restaurants, ten minutes from the beach, shuttles every hour to the stadium and Fan Parks, three meals served daily, full facilities, and a big screen TV in a large hall so you can enjoy the games even if you didn't get into the stadium.
This has got to be the best way to see the greatest event in football history. Make your trip to

You will find that there are plenty of luxurious and affordable accommodations in whatever host city you would prefer to stay in. There are still plenty of hotels and other types of accommodations available right now, but you have to be quick in making a reservation because the number grows slim daily.
It would be very expensive to go visit and check on the accommodation physically that you would wish to stay in, but if you have the budget to scout the best one, go for it. Checking online is your next best option. It will not only save you money, but also offer plenty of alternatives as well.
There are a number of accommodation sites for South Africa available online. But finding the best site is the difficult part. Many of the sites prices are too high and the accommodations are not that great. You should find a site that has a picture of the accommodation with reasonable prices and has information on the number of sleeps, rooms, description of the place, facilities, contact information, reservation information, etc.
Once you find the accommodation that suits your budget and standards, you will not only enjoy the Soccer World Cup 2010 games but you will also have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of South Africa and many landmarks and stunning beaches that it has to offer.
So if you want to have accommodations in time for the Soccer World Cup 2010 in South Africa visit http://www.searchaccommodationsouthafrica.com to find the best accommodation that would suit your taste and budget.

Italy & the U.S. Headquarters Nearby
Reporting Goal, FIFA has approved the request for the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) to select the Southdowns College Irene as his headquarters. As the inn, selected Leriba Lodge.
Southdowns has also been the headquarters of Italy during their Confederations Cup followed in 2009.The failure of the Azzurri in the competition did not seem to affect FIGC decision in the election headquarters.
In fact, the U.S. team's first wanted Southdowns College as his headquarters, but the Italians who finally got his wish.
U.S. do not have far to find the headquarters despite Italy incarannya taken. 'Uncle Sam' Team will still be headquartered in Irene, precisely at the Irene Country Lodge Hotel, and will practice at Pilditch Stadium in Pretoria.
By choosing Irene near Pretoria, Italy seems not think much about the distance. Because, Gianluigi Buffon et al just do not have agendas play in Pretoria. Three Italian Group F action will take place at Green Point (Cape Town), Mbombela (Nelspruit) and Ellis Park (Johannesburg).
While for the U.S. Team, this option is practically put them in the middle of the fight three Group C. Bob Bradley's squad that care will be played at Royal Bafokeng (Rustenburg), Ellis Park and Loftus Versfield located in Pretoria.***
